YU now Go Cheaper

Micromax company introduced a subsidy product in January know as YU along with the release of YU now Go CheaperYureka, a sub 9k  smartphone working on Cyanogenmod, a improved version of Android which provides a great deal of customizations. The manufacturer has been attempting to contend against the large group of Chinese smartphone producers that have been flooding the Indian market. The recent try is sub 7k smartphone know the Yuphoria.

The design contains a metal frame in the center and a smooth detachable plastic cover at the back. In the back also features a big ring with camera lens in the center and LED flash on the side of the ring. Inside the hood is the removable battery, two SIM card slots along with microSD slot. The display is 5inch with a 720p resolution secured with Gorilla Glass 3, making it one of the several handsets to have such security. The superior of the display is sharp however the ideal on colours and offers a bit warmer tone. Given that there are no capacitive keys, the only control keys are for the lock and volume which are quite large and easy to access, this handset has a price tag of Rs. 6,999 or approximately $110.

When it comes to hardware it features with a 410 Processor Snapdragon supports with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expand via microSD. There is a 8MP back camera and 5MP front facing, a 2230mAh battery. This device supports a 4G network.

The device runs with Cyanogen OS 12, a custom version of Android Lollipop 5.0 that seems very similar to stock Android together with some customization settings through themes and other features.

You think Yuphoria has a fair price? Indeed, it is certainly worth for the money with minimal adjustments. There are many other smartphones with just similar specs and features but the USP of the Yuphoria lies with Cyanogen OS which has been popular among the Android users.
