Billings police have given 208 mobile phone violation citations to local motorist a recent mobile phone enforcement detail caused by public complains, based to a Friday news release.
The administration detail was carried out by the Billings Police Department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program and last from October 31 to November 10 based to the launched.
Throughout the period, officers did not issue any cautions for mobile phone use in an automobiles and instead issued citations.
During stops for mobile phone use, police made:
- One arrest for felony criminal distribution of dangerous drugs.
- One arrest for felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs
- 12 arrests for misdemeanor criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
- 14 arrests for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
- 24 insurance violations.
- 12 driver’s license violations and nine seat belt violations.
